When cats were first discovered on Venus, they were thought to be not as cute and cuddly as their counterparts found on Earth. However, scientists began to study them and soon found something amazing. As Dr. Xiaoping Wang once exclaimed in the lab "These cats are soft!" Soft indeed.

Created by Ken Fehling as an example for Django Micro CMS/SSG, a starter project for creating statically generated websites combined with a simple CMS.

The system is based on Django and builds on top of Django Admin. It uses django-distill as a Static Site Generator (SSG).

The websites use plain HTML/CSS/JS and Django templates. Some components are built with petite-vue.
